Our Approach

At Aspire Kids Physical Therapy, we help children build confidence through play, movement, and connection.

We provide individualized pediatric physical therapy for infants, children, and teens in Los Angeles. Our care is child-centered and family-focused, with sessions tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs.

We support motor development, strength, coordination, and confidence through engaging, goal-oriented care — helping children build meaningful skills one step at a time.

Meet Taylor

Aspire started long before my move from Canada.

My path into working with kids started early through coaching youth hockey, where I discovered how much I valued helping kids build confidence.

During my Bachelor of Kinesiology degree, I worked with children in a variety of roles, including behavior intervention, adaptive sports, and youth programs. That experience led me to pursue my Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. I started my career in pediatrics and never looked back.

Over the past five years, I’ve worked with infants, children, and teens across a wide range of needs – from early motor delays, including torticollis and plagiocephaly, to coordination challenges, neurological and orthopedic conditions, and sports-related injuries. I value the variety pediatrics has to offer – it keeps me on my toes.

My approach blends play with structure. Sessions are engaging, goal-oriented, and designed to build functional skills that align with each child and family’s goals. Families leave with a clear plan, kids leave feeling capable, and one of the best compliments I hear is that they actually look forward to coming to PT.

My wife and I moved from Vancouver, drawn by LA’s energy, opportunity, and culture of people willing to pursue meaningful challenges. Aspire isn’t just the name of the clinic – it’s a mindset that supports children in trying new things, building resilience, and developing confidence in what their bodies can do.

Aspire Kids Physical Therapy is my next chapter – creating a space to help kids move with confidence here in Los Angeles.

Hear From our Families

  • Taylor worked with my non-speaking, autistic son, Devon, from ages 12–17. In the beginning, he would spell out his goals letter by letter on an alphabet board.

Taylor adapted sessions to what my son wanted and built a strong connection with him.

Over the years, we saw dramatic improvements in his strength, coordination, stamina, and confidence.

    — Sandy

  • We first visited Taylor when my daughter was 5 weeks old, dealing with torticollis and plagiocephaly. Over time, he created an environment where she felt safe, comfortable, and inspired to try new things.

He understood how to keep sessions engaging and adapted to her needs as she developed.

The other day, she pointed to a photo of her and Taylor and said, “Taylor. Proud.”

    — Jenny

  • When we started working with Taylor, my son could barely walk properly and was very shy and uncomfortable around people.

Taylor was patient, kind, and knowledgeable, and supported us with exercises we could continue at home.

Now my son comes running into sessions, quite literally.

    — Violet

  • My 5-year-old son had a gross motor developmental delay and isn’t always the easiest to work with.

Taylor quickly built rapport and got him to participate in activities he would normally refuse. He also gave us practical ideas to support him outside of sessions.

The progress over the last two years has been amazing.

    — Ray

  • We feel so fortunate that Taylor was our child's physical therapist for over two years, helping address a condition that limited his mobility and strength.

Through weekly sessions, Taylor kept him motivated while working toward meaningful clinical outcomes.

Taylor challenged our son to define goals and improve his physical abilities.

    — Lisa

  • Our 5-year-old son with autism has loved every session with Taylor. He is usually very shy, but Taylor’s patience helped him open up and engage.

Sessions were creative and fun, and we were given exercises to continue at home.

He broke down skills in such an engaging way that our son picked them up quickly.

    — Sarah

  • Our son looked forward to every session and often asked when it was time to see Taylor again.

Taylor adapted activities to his interests, created games, and kept him motivated even when exercises were challenging.

He encouraged our son in ways no other therapist has.

    — Debbie & Derek

  • Taylor tailored sessions to exactly who our daughter was and what motivated her.

He has a “kid at heart” quality that makes him both fun and effective, while still being knowledgeable and professional.

He has a clear drive to connect with each child on a personal level.

    — Meaghan

  • We have known Taylor since 2022, and he worked with our daughter during very difficult times.

For someone with extremely high anxiety, it really matters who you work with. Taylor focused on her strengths and helped her believe in herself.

They achieved so much progress together.

    — Ali

  • Taylor worked with my baby during the first year and a half, and he was gentle, calm, and every session was very productive.

The exercises he gave us were effective, and we often saw progress after just one visit.

One session with Taylor equated to weeks of progress.

    — Jennie
